It’s Christmas Time!

City Church are putting on a MASSIVE Christmas Event at the Redcliffe Youth Space on Sunday the 9th of December to honour the work we do in our community – which is awesome and pretty humbling.  When Grant, the Pastor at City Church, approached us earlier in the year and said “you do so much for your community, let us do something for you” we didn’t quite know what to say.

We’re pretty sure we do good work (at least it’s our aim), and we know the support we give to young people with mental health conditions, drug and alcohol addictions, family issues, education ups and down, employment needs, abuse issues and so on is valued by the young men and women we help – but sometimes you do forget that other people see the work you’re doing and respect it also!

As a team, we’re totally blown away by what City Church are doing for us and our young people!

The event City Church has organised and is running at the Youth Space kicks of at about 5pmish and will go until 8:30pm where it will culminate in a massive fireworks display.

The event is not just about honouring the Youth Space, more importantly it’s about entertaining our wonderful community and giving our amazing young people a fantastic Christmas celebration!

Thank you to City Church (Grant and his team are SPECTACULAR), Moreton Bay Regional Council and Epic Employment for making this happen.
