Redcliffe Youth Space engages in social enterprise activities which fit with our vision, mission and core beliefs.
Although all profits made through social enterprise go back into the youth space to support the work we do with young people in the community, these activities also provide opportunities for young people to explore and gain experience in their specific interests.
They create a space in which young people can take ownership of ideas as well as work in collaboration with our team and the wider community encouraging social connection, social inclusion and capacity building.
The Ride Supplies shop exists within the youth space building - conveniently located next to a skate park.
Open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
We provide:
Repairs/maintenance Tues - Fri 10:30am - 5pm
Skate trailer -
Fri - Deception Bay skatepark 3pm - 7pm
Sat - Bracken Ridge skatepark 10am - 3pm
Our popular biannual event Picnic Hill is supported by our Skilling Queenslanders for work (SQW) trainees.
Young people are given the opportunity to learn event management/music industries skills, liaise with the community and gain relevant work experience and the community comes together to share in the delicious food and entertainment on offer.
This event includes food trucks, live entertainment, kids activities, arts/crafts and a bar.
